Use: Ideal for steelhead, salmon, trout (t8 is very thin in diameter so easier to cast, even on lighter fly rods)
Because the new 2026 RIO T-series now uses an ultra low stretch monofilament core, traditional heat welding is notoriously difficult. To fix this, I switched to folded loops. While they are not as sleek as factory welds, they are incredibly strong and will last for years.
