The Squirmy Wormy is a fly pattern that originated in the USA and is tied using a relatively new material made from an incredibly stretchy, rubbery compound.
The material is thick, heavy, and extremely lively in the water—you’ll be hard-pressed to find a worm imitation that’s anywhere near as realistic or effective as the Squirmy.
On the right day, it’s an incredibly productive pattern.
It can be a little tricky to work with at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s very simple.
